In the latest Odisha CGL 2026 prelim examination, there was a slight change in the syllabus and distribution of marks. This time, the Odisha GK syllabus has been added to the exam, so the mark distribution changes.

As per the revised syllabus by OSSC, in the Mains Paper- I, there will be no descriptive questions. In the old syllabus Precise writing and Translation were part of the descriptive. But the Paper- II is unchanged.

3- OSSC CGL Computer Skill Test
The candidates applying for the posts below are required to give the Computer Skill Test.

You must secure the qualifying 50% mark to get these posts. There will be a total of 50 marks in the computer practical test with basic questions from MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Internet, and MS Windows.

The selection process for RI, Amin ARI, VAW, JA, and SFS includes the Main Written Exam, followed by a Practical Skill test of Basic Computer Test.
